I’m a single mother to one amazing 12-year-old boy. He is my drive in life and the reason I’m in college is that I need to lead by example. If I can get a degree as an adult all while working three jobs and supporting us with out help of family or the state, then he can do it half as easy. However, he wants to go into the service. Which I love. He has a lot of pride in his country and wants to show it. Not to mention, he’ll get a great education at the same time. We love being outdoors. We love to go to the shooting range on the weekends. It’s our bonding time. I’m the spotter, he’s the shooter. I’ve never been very girlie, so this is right up my alley. He’s, my twin. Just a male version of me. As you can see below.
I am getting my bachelor’s in biology so I can become a genetic counselor. Genetics is my jam. I love everything that has to do with how were made and what were made of.
I have not had the easiest path in life. I don’t have any family to fall back on or support me in my dreams or troubled times. The day I found out I was going to be a mother was the day I started my life. My son gave me a desire to have a meaningful life. To have drive and be a positive member of society.
This blog will be about who I am.
